About

A Category B2 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) shall permit the holder to issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) and to act as B2 Support Staff following:

  • maintenance performed on Avionic and Electrical Systems,

  • Electrical and Avionics tasks within Powerplant and Mechanical Systems, requiring only simple tests to prove their serviceability

Basic Experience requirements

There are two options to obtain Aircraft Maintenance License (AML)  Category B2 Avionics:

First Option:

  1. Complete a full Basic Training Course in approved Technical Aviation school (Academy)

  2. A practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft is 2 years is required.

Second Option:

  1. 5 years if the applicant has no previous relevant technical training.

  • Secondary education or equivalent.

  • Medical certificate  Type 3.
